Top 5 cars reported to the tech area and were surprised with an extremely extensive engine tech procedure overseen by the Murray County Speedway head tech official. First a ball was pulled from the bucket like normal, throttle body measurements and injector verification pill was drawn. All 5 cars were checked and passed.

Next all 5 cars were asked to pull a spark plug so bore and stroke could be checked. All 5 cars were checked and passed. Next a compression test was done on all 5 cars. All were under the legal limit outlined in the rules. Next the camera was used to look inside all motors for any internal lighting of clutch, transmission gears, crank shaft, rods. Nothing was found illegal. Then all cars were checked to ensure all gears were working in the transmission. Lastly all 5 cars submitted the ECU to be scanned. All 5 ECUs were checked and verified to have the legal stock settings.

As stated at the Series Banquet last year, we will continue to step up the tech process for the integrity of this Series and provide peace of mind to all drivers that these cars are being checked to the full extent! If there is ever any doubt or you would like to see something checked that has not been done. Please exercise your right to fill out a protest form to seek the answers you are searching for.
